poem 120 of a poem a day for 2012 (NaPoWriMo8)

chained to mountain views

or the poems
that spill sideways
and the poems
that fill ridden days
these are the words
that a soul's geometry
connects the dots with
handfuls of carve
bleeding a sieve
of blossomed tomorrows
with the swill thirst of more
the crawl burst ripe to pour
here at every edge
lip of an abyss
the unknown
are the bones
of no more to give
and almost dry
a sojourn calling rain
from another blue sky
from a journey
through the why
where the poems are
still wild
without cause here
where they're birds
tucking wings
stealing flight
eating my liver
in dreams
that paint
the night
from the Sun
again
