hot wax and bell, near as I can tell ...................................................... you burned me, poem scarred ...................................................... down by the river many lifetimes ago ................................................

dollop
scallop
bellow
billow
here, there are
certain leaves
in the rain
that tremble
and shake
with pain
it seems
they eat
all our
exhales ...

little velvet bells that tells it
the way anger does too
reflection, parody
soup, prayer
and the recipe\s
in our reflections ...

we followed
scented loam trails
mountains to the sea
climbed back to the sky
staged ritual adherence(s)
adhesive longings from those times
when we did anything we could
to stick to what we could see
of ourselves when near
the water's edge ...

  3. What a title and the beginning, middle, & end come together at a full circle.

The scallops buttery is tasty and good.
