I don't write, I paint myself blind with words...diogenes herded...ignorance...gilded cages...filling up on beauty unleashed...free will's maddening fractures...eyes that need to smell to see...

conversation mental low gene, adopt a mad artistic crutch lean .................a March hare poem
"do not say or do, it is you and your mouth at the gate"
"why must these conundrums count questioned verification(s)"
"can you not see that your actions tell us more"
"perhaps, but they're disconcerting to me,
a bit like teeth with eyes"
"try not to look at them with any part of you
wanting to be somewhere else"
"uh, it seems that is their sole purpose
fantasy, delusion and great escapism"
"true that is what it seems
but fidgety and jump skipping-ly so
is reason enough for adherence"
"how can we tell if we're real enough
to enter this current here and now
assimilating-ly invisible...?"
"don't know, read this shit"
where were you going no ware really raw
resource all oh cat envelope that door wavering
in the radiant heat ping metal destiny
you hope the prayers are not for you
but the secret wishes are
far baby tar baby brer rabbit too
you said the genius in madness is
when it doesn't end
says to any person
palming hot wax Moon
we are near the sarcophagus of Winter
I want to see reaction
big bottom drops of water
on an over a fire piece of tin found
while walking a whistle quiet
made up explanations
folks driving by
looking at me
strange expressions
on their faces
why is that person
clapping their feet together
walking saunter weaves
between tombstones
are the early onion grasses loam tones
radio sentinel crocuses
and red bud early maples
are they all stained directions
each way pretense
points toward home
death of the old man is nigh
a tumble belt mutt ohm flow
hungry wolves about
I ignore them
keep feeding lambs
to all the lions
even the ever silent pride watchers
just beyond a fade to black
and the curtain dropping
its kiss to 'morrow...

Where have you been hiding, Edward; terrific Flarf/Beat no(n)sense lines, daring word combinations, abstract combinations--the kind of hard-hitting, frustrating, audacious poetics I dig the living shit out of. Thanks for stopping by my blog; read some of the earlier (54) episodes of BLACKTHORNE for real jolt & jarring ride. I invented this kind of Cinemagenic poetry; other have tried & failed.
ReplyDeleteThat's kind of you to say..have read a few of your episodes, I enjoy them...I have to slowly peruse them and linger where my selfish tastes go inside them...sort of like sipping strong mushroom tea, it is best absorbed this way, at least by me...much gratitude for stopping by...

DeleteThere is both fear and humour, both darkness and playfulness in your wordplay, nonsense words and rhyme, your satirical bent. Unusual and exhilarating!
ReplyDeleteAn astute observer you are...thank you for saying such and for stopping by...
DeleteThe initial voices told me about the darker side of humanity... the silent they mirrors of xenophobic minds... and then from orderly to chaotic sentences disintegrate.. wonderful write...
ReplyDeleteI like the description...thank you for stopping by...
DeleteOh man this literally gave me goosebumps!!
ReplyDeleteGratitude... :)
DeleteI see your influences here - I have written this way as well. There is mystery in the juxtaposition and inferences in the images. That is all that is necessary.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate you saying such...I do so enjoy mixing my silly with serious...savory sublimation perhaps...and thank you again for visiting...
DeleteCool, interesting, and exciting piece. Good work!

Dark and brooding voice ~ Thanks for joining us ~
sometimes being dark helps absorb more sunlight...maybe I should label these pieces vitamin D deficient...thank you for commenting...
DeleteIt seems you decided to dance on the interior of that dark cave of life. Now, here is the real question? Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDelete"how can we tell if we're real enough
to enter this current here and now
assimilating-ly invisible...?"
we might never or we have always been...seems time is malleable has is love my friend...only we can see things to embrace and prevent...shit my inner rhymer is leaking out...thanks for stopping by...
DeleteTime is now, we can embrace it like a lover dancing in the moment..surrendering ourselves to the senses of life, perhaps, even cross into another dimension of space...if we use our inner vision we open the doorways to our minds. let your inner rhymer loose ...
DeleteThank You : ^ ) "as is" earlier typo...
DeleteI like your voice. You have inspired me to be this raw and daring! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteA fantastical spilling of images and I find the closing to be powerful indeed. Well written!
