poem 262 of a poem a day for 2012

speckle me, Goddess

with each glance
from the peer mist
of my dreams
by chance
I mean to harbor
into Her glow
taste it even
let Her hands
lead me here

you have me there
completing my dissolve
undone at the molecular
end bloom of each touch
of Yours, that says
look here
your nose
has found me

as you are lending, bending
bare-throating a crawl
with your mouth
full of thorns
as you are guarding the petals
to find where My water
parts every element
of your skin

  1. An accidental poem? If so, accidents love you and your words.
