my midsummer faith twists and cricks
I'm every crooked stick
gone a leaping fires quickly
while taking out my dick

dawn is thirsty snakes
I hear crowds begin
murmur round completions
nimble feet skim
belled waxy piss
on my pants
scapegoat
purified
another secretion

  1. I flipping love this line: "murmur round completions" ... and the ending.

I'm not sure why, but this makes me think of a person who has cancer. ... Also woodsy magic. ... And also a mischievous teenaged church boy, "leaping fires" with the church wives. This is sinister, for sure. Or not. I can see a few different things bubbling, which is what excites me most about poetry.

  5. I'm not sure whether this is meant satirically or not. If not, people showing off can be a piss. If not ... some release or the other clearly necessary as long as the daylight shining on it can be staved off. I'm impressed!
