elemental surprise
grift graft drift draft
your tide mechanics in chaos
sea grass soul to body
repeated melody
crescendo to playing
lilts and weeps
jump sorrow rituals
sexual initiation rites
carved pumpkin carriage rides
passage to another side
of each of your bodies
middle dermis lodged odd
pull of dreams is your hair
it grows, maybe
you also fantasize about
power, escape and vice
passion and grace
someday maybe too
when broken
doesn’t come
so easy
